Planning for your future and the future of your loved ones takes time and effort on your part. David S. Lill can guide you through that process to insure your future desires for your estate are met and your own care is provided for if need be.
Wills
Planning ahead for your own passing and even possible illness or disability is an act of love that benefits your loved ones. Those who care about you most will appreciate that you took the time and effort plan ahead. Most people in Texas die without a will. Their loved ones bear the brunt of sometimes surprising results from not having a will. David S. Lill’s goal is to make your will and estate planning happen with as little effort as possible on your part.
David will prepare your will with the goal of taking the steps necessary to insure that your estate passes to those whom you desire and in the manner in which you desire. Preparation of your will is deeply personal, and David will treat that privacy with respect, sensitivity and confidentiality. The initial consultation is free.
Disability Planning
Planning your will is only part of the process. Today, there are excellent tools for planning for the possibility of temporary or permanent disability whether by injury or illness. While we each hope that there is no need for such planning, preparing for the possibility provides peace of mind for you and may be of great assistance for your loved ones. Failure to have these documents prepared for the possibility of disability can created substantial difficulties for you and those caring for you should disability occur.
David’s goal is to take the steps necessary to insure your wishes are met, but at a reasonable price. Each client’s estate is different in size and complexity. But each client’s plans and desires are equally important.
Probate
Upon the death of a loved one, the legal process of settling the affairs of the decedent’s estate is frequently referred to as “probate.” While there are some exceptions, the estates of most Texas residents, whether one dies with our without a will, will be probated. David will guide you through that process in an efficient manner. You will have direct access to David to answer your questions. Unlike some other firms, your calls will not be screened or handled by assistants. Personal service at a reasonable fee is the hallmark of Lill Firm, P.C.
